Rod Serling appears in the Pre-Show video. This scene is from a 1961 episode titled “The good life”. This episode tells the story of a child who can change things using his mind.
On the other hand, for the specific scenes, in particular, the final scene where Rod welcomes us after the attraction, the Imagineers had to call on a casting to find a Rod Sterling look-alike, who died in 1975. Their choice quickly came on Robert Rhine .

For the attraction pre-show, Rod Serling is no longer speaking, and the end of the presentation text has been modified to match the attraction.

Indeed, in the original episode, Rod Serling announces the episode with the phrase: “Tonight’s story on The Twilight Zone® is single Somewhat and calls for a different kind of introduction This, as you May Recognize, est. A map of the United States … ”

By cons, in the version of the preshow, the pronounced sentence is: “Tonight’s story on The Twilight Zone is one Somewhat and calls for a different kind of introduction This, as you May Recognize, is a. Maintenance service elevator, still in operation, waiting for you. ”

It will also be noted that the background of the image has been changed to remove the map of the United States present in the original version, to replace it with the famous service lift.
